Just imagine there is a bank
which credits your account each morning with Rs. 86400. It carries over no
balance day to day and every evening it deletes whatever part of balance you
failed to use per day. What will you do? Draw out each rupee every day,
ofcourse!!! Let me share with you, each one of us has such a bank account
called “time”. Every morning it credits you with 86400 seconds. Every night it
writes off as “lost” whatever of it you have failed to invest for a good
purpose. It carries over no balance or nor does it allows for overdraft. Each
day it opens new account for you and burns that remain at the end of the day.
If you fail to use today’s deposit the loss is yours. There is no going back or
no drawings against tomorrow. You must live in the present of today’s deposit.
Invest it so that you get utmost in health, happiness and success. Time is
running so make the most use of it today.
I would like to quote
something that will make you realize the value of many things:
To realize the value
of ONE YEAR….
Ask a student who failed
a grade
To realize the value
of ONE MONTH…..
Ask a mother who gave birth to a premature
baby
To realize a value of
ONE WEEK……
Ask the editor of a weekly newspaper
To realize a value of
ONE HOUR……
Ask the lovers who are
waiting to meet.
To realize the value
of ONE MINUTE…..
ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value
of ONE SECOND….
Ask a person who just avoided an
accident.
To realize the value
of ONE MILLI SECOND…..
Ask a person who won a silver medal
in the Olympics.
Treasure
every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with
someone special, special enough to spend your time and remember time waits for
none. True friends are very rare jewel, indeed. It could be in the form of
mother, father, brother, sister, any stranger, your own boyfriend or girlfriend
etc. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear. They
share a word of praise and they always want to open their heart to us. So don’t
be late show your friend how much you care and love. For me this is only the
bank account of life and we need to use it carefully.
